This year we had to research a wildflower in Texas. Mine is the Texas Bluebonnet. Its scientific name is Lupinus texensis and its classification isFabaceae. It grows in all regions of Texas and is the state flower. It blooms in the spring and grows 1-2 feet tall. It needs to be in full sun and well drained soil. I found the info at Aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu.
One of my two favorite flowers.
